The Gallery

As of March 2010, IX Gallery will focus exclusively on photography, specializing in both archival and contemporary works. We are especially committed to bringing the images of emerging or perhaps unrecognized artists to the public eye.

IX Gallery is a gallery created by Colourgenics Fine Art Workshop and Boutique, a lab long noted for it's high standards of quality.

Here is the brief outline of our exhibit contract and payment structure:

IX Gallery pays for an Akimbo ad, and submits info to all the main free art listings that run in Toronto

IX Gallery covers the cost of the opening reception

All works are shown on a consignment basis. The Artist retains 60% of the retail sale price, and the Gallery 40%

When the mounting/framing is also done by Colourgenics, the artist receives 20% off both printing and mounting/framing.
