Tango Drum Scanning

Our Tango Drum Scanner without question the finest film scanning process available today. Combine Tango's whopping 11,000 dpi trademark no-compromise resolution, its' amazing 16-bit colour and our renowned scanning expertise and you have a quality benchmark which even the most expensive digital capture back will find difficult to match. We use oil-mounting to achieve dust-free, crystal-clear scans.

Imacon Film Scanning

Our Imacon film scanner is an economical alternative to drum scanning for most common applications, such as offset printing and small to medium photo enlargements. With a maximum film size of 4"x 5" and top resolution of 6320 dpi, the Imacon will admirably satisfy most general scanning requirements and is capable of producing excellent visual quality.

Whole Roll Film Scanning

Ideal for web use and digital contact sheets, our film scanner offers the most cost effective solutions. Whole roll scanning helps to facilitate the image selection process and allow only final chosen images to be scanned by either of our high quality scanning options.

Topaz Flatbed Scanning

Our Topaz hi-res flatbed is the ideal process for photo restoration or the high quality capture of many different types of reflective originals, which cannot be wrapped around the drum. With Topaz images up to 12" x 18" can be scanned.

Digital Editing & Retouching

From the basic photo restoration to the most intricate photo composites, our retouching expertise can meet these challenges head-on with innovation and the utmost accuracy. Colourgenics professional retouching and compositing services provide seamless transitions and natural image blending and colour replacements. We also offer other surgical procedures in grain mitigation, image scaling and colour correction.

FTP Transfer Service

To facilitate fast and flawless transfer or large image files, Colourgenics technical offers high speed triple DSL connection to our in-house FTP site. For customers with FTP Client software, we offer a free account with your own private folder for uploading and downloading. While most FTP postings and uploads for printing purposes are free, there are nominal charges applicable for large postings and third party uploads/downloads. Please contact us for more information.
